About this item
These cushions are made from a mid century vintage Zhuang wedding blanket. The blanket was handwoven in cotton with little silk diamonds and the colour was predominantly terracotta from the mineral dye sienna, and black. The colour was faded and uneven so i have lightened it in the wash to a pretty cream with a faint pink blush. I've backed the cushions with a vintage Songjiang textile, which is a berry stripe, added tassels and there are zip fasteners and feather pads. They are very pretty.
