DI0713 OAK PLANK DOOR MADE USING OLD RECLAIMED FLOORBOARDS

    Item details

An internal planked door made using old, rustic reclaimed oak floorboards. The door is well constructed with 5 planks attached to 3 thick oak ledges on the back face. The wire brushed oak has a lovely, aged, rustic feel and textured appearance with natural wear and an attractive grain. The door is solid and well made and has interesting character signs of age. The door is also ideal for conversion into a table top by purchaser attaching it to wooden or metal base.  The wood has surface splits, scratches, marks and small holes, all giving the door great character. There is a larger split in a wood knot on the back face of the door but it does not affect the structural integrity of the item. The back face has a gouge below the top ledge. There are some small holes left from woodworm that has been treated. Please see pictures for details. Door hardware will need to be supplied by purchaser. The door is ideal for a cottage or rustic barn interior and has an abundance of style and aged charm.

    Width 75.7cm (757mm)

    Height 198.2cm (1982mm)

    Depth 2.7cm (27mm)

    Depth with ledges 5cm (50mm)

Please note the measurements are approximate due to the age of the wood.
