DI0916 A RECLAIMED OAK INTERNAL PLANK DOOR

A reclaimed oak plank internal door. The door has a nice rustic appearance and comprises of oak planks with oak cover strips applied to the front face. The back face of the door has a ledge and brace construction. The ledge and brace have chamfered detailing. The front face of the door has two ornate decorative metal straps.

The door is in good solid condition with some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed items. The door has some small knocks, chips and thin surface splits. Some nail holes can be seen. The door has some holes and marks where door furniture has been removed. The oak has some scratches, marks, stains and slight discolouration. Two of the cover strips are slightly loose at the base of the door, where the nails have come away from the door. The door straps have some surface rust. The hinges are tarnished and have some damage and you may need to replace them. The top of the door has been cut on a slope, to fit the original space and you may need to level the height of the door. Please see pictures for condition details. The door has nice character and would make a lovely feature in a rustic or country home.
