About this item
A reclaimed oak beam, ideal for a wood burner mantel or other home project. The beam has a nice rustic appearance with very interesting characteristics and signs of age. The beam has uneven sides that are not flat, giving nice aged character and a stylish rustic look. The oak has been cleaned and it has a rich colour. The beam has some signs of wear, use and age, as expected of reclaimed items. The beam has a notch cut into it at one end. There are some splits and surface cracks. There are some notches, holes, wood knots and gouges. The oak has some colour variation. One side has a line of nails or staples in it. Please see pictures for condition details. The beam is of a nice size and has a great look, ideal for a rustic home project.
