This is a pair of vintage decorative bookends. An English, light oak book rest in the manner of Liberty, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940.
Appealing forms inspired by the aesthetic of Heals and Liberty of London
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Select oak shows light caramel hues and fine grain interest
Gently chamfered edges to the pleasingly geometric shapes
Protective leather pads dress the underside
Unmarked as such, but bearing the quality and taste of Liberty
