    The Illustrated National Family Bible with the Commentaries of Scott & Henry edited by the Rev’d John Eadie, DD, LLD professor of Biblical Literature to the United Presbyterian Church. Published by Cassell & Co, London, for The National Bible Supply, 184 Aldersgate Street, London. Preface by John Eadie, 13 Lansdown Crescent, dated 30th September 1858. Gilt decorated Family Register with no entries or script. 21 colour and black and white illustrative plates each with tissue guards intact, plus references and maps. Black Morocco bound with fielded relief to front board with gilt title and decoration. Four raised bands and blind tooling to spine. Gilt brass corner pieces to front cover with hinged clasps. All edges gilt. Tight spine and clean and unmarked endpapers. Mild foxing to the occasional page and light scuffing to spine and boards, but all in very fine and apparently unused condition.
