This is an ancient Roman AE (Orichalcum) Sestertius, of Emperor Antoninus Pius, minted at Rome between 155 - 156 AD
Obverse: ANTONINVS AVG PIVS PP IMP II, laureate head right
Reverse: TR POT XXI COS IIII, Roma seated left on cuirass, foot on helmet, holding Victory and parazonium; shield behind. S-C in exergue.
A wonderful ancient coin with a nice dark green patina, this coin was originally found in Rochester some 40 years ago.
