This is an ancient Roman AE (Orichalcum) Sestertius, of Emperor Hadrian, minted at Rome in 123 AD
Obverse: IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG PMTRP COS III, "Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Trajan Hadrian, emperor (Augustus), high priest, holder of tribunician power, consul for the third time" Bust of Hadrian, laureate, right.
Reverse: MONETA AVGVSTI S C "The mint of the emperor. Decree of the senate" Moneta, draped, standing left, holding scales in right hand and cornucopiae in left
A superb ancient coin with a nice patina, good hoard metal.
