This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of Clodius Albinus, minted at Rome between 194 - 195 AD.
Obverse: D CLOD SEPT ALBIN CAES "Decimus Clodius Septimius Albinus Caesar" Bare head of Clodius facing right.
Reverse: MINER PACIF COS II, "Minerva, the peacemaker. Consul for the second time." Minerva, helmeted, draped, standing left, holding an olive branch in right hand and shield set on ground in left hand; spear rests against left arm.
