This is an ancient Roman Silver Denarius, of Emperor Antoninus Pius, minted at Rome between 140 - 143 AD
Obverse: ANTONINVS AVG PI-VS P P TR P COS III, "Antoninus Pius, emperor (Augustus) father of the nation, holder of tribunician power, consul for the third time" laureate head right
Reverse: AEQVI-TAS AVG, "Equity of the emperor" Aequitas, draped, standing left, holding scales in lowered right hand and vertical sceptre in left.
