This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of Emperor Commodus, as Co-Augustus with his father Marcus Aurelius minted at Rome in 179 AD
Obverse: L AVREL COMMODVS AVG, "Lucius Aurelius Commodus, emperor (Augustus)" laureate head right.
Reverse: TR P IIII IMP II COS II P P, "Holder of tribunician power for the fourth time, supreme commander (Imperator) for the third time, consul for the second time, father of the nation." Fortuna, draped, seated left on low seat, holding rudder set on ground in right hand and cornucopiae in left hand.
