This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of Emperor Domitian, it was struck at Rome in 94 AD
Obverse: IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P XIIII "Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Domitian, emperor (Augustus), conqueror of the Germans, high priest, holder of tribunician power for the fourteenth time." Laureate head right
Reverse: IMP XXII COS XVI CENS P P P "Supreme commander (Imperator) for the 22nd time, consul for the 16th time, censor for life, father of the nation." Minerva standing left.
