This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of Emperor Trajan, minted in Rome between 103 - 112 AD
Obverse: IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TR P "Supreme commander (Imperator), Trajan, emperor (Augustus), conqueror of the Germans, conqueror of the Dacians, high priest, holder of tribunician power" laureate bust of Trajan facing right, slight drapery on the left shoulder.
Reverse: COS V P P S P Q R OPTIMO PRINC, "Consul for the fifth time, father of the nation. The senate and the Roman people. The best of princes" Victory standing left, naked to hips, holding wreath and palm.
A nice coin, grading at least VF for type in my opinion.
