    This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of empress Plautilla, minted at Rome in 202 AD 

    Obverse:  PLAVTILLAE AVGVSTAE, "Empress Plautilla" draped bust right

    Reverse: PROPAGO IMPERI, "Enlargement of the empire" Caracalla, togate, standing left, clasping right hands with Plautilla, draped, standing right. This is the marriage ceremony of Caracalla with Plautilla.

    A very nice example, toned but with a striking flan crack and grades a good VF
