    This is an ancient Roman silver denarius, of the Divine Faustina, deified wife of emperor Antoninus Pius, minted in Rome between 141 - 161 AD 

    Obverse: DIVA FAV-STINA, "The divine Faustina [the Elder]" Draped bust right.

    Reverse: AETERNITAS, "Eternity" Fortuna standing left holding globe & rudder. 

    A fine example VF+ with a good portrait and toned silver.

    DENOMINATION: Denarius

    MATERIAL: Silver

    DATE: 138 - 140 AD (this coin issued in her memory between 141- 161 AD)
