    This is an ancient Roman silver Siliqua of emperor Gratian dating from 367-375 AD

    Obverse: DN GRATIANVS P F AVG "Our Lord Gratianus Pious and Happy August" pearl-diademed, draped & cuirassed bust right 

    Reverse: VIRTVS ROMANORVM "Courage of the Romans" Roma seated left, on cuirass, holding Victory on globe in right extended hand and reversed spear in left hand.

    This coin was minted between the years 375 - 378 at Treveri (Trier in Germany), mintmark TRPS.
