An early 20th century antique rustic Welsh pine sawhorse

A recently salvaged antique painted pine Welsh sawhorse bench.

Sourced from a small rural cottage near Caernarfon, North Wales, circa 1920.

Primitive in it's design, this charming sawhorse was used for many years in a small workshop.

Found in historic dusty red paint, with traces of metallic paint to its top, along with various drips and splashes of paint from the various carpentry projects.

With charming wear and rustic patina, this would now serve as a fantastic plant stand or bench seat. If used as bench its hefty build quality and height makes it ideal to seat two adults.

Its heavy duty construction is testament to its maker, this will certainly last for years to come. The thick old pine has worn well.

Dimensions:-

Length - 85.7cm

Depth - 43.3cm

Height - 53.3cm

With age related wear and tear as illustrated.

Structurally sound and ready to use.

Some minor historic non active surface wood worm to base of one support, this has been treated for peace of mind.
