CS0094 RECLAIMED VICTORIAN FRENCH DECORATIVE SHUTTER PINE / ALUMINIUM

A reclaimed, Victorian, French pine and aluminium shutter. The shutter has a very nice rustic / country / shabby chic appearance and is the perfect decorative item for a home. The shutter has a pine frame and the original pine slats have been replaced with aluminium slats. The shutter has been painted in an attractive pale grey which has some losses on the slats and the painted pine has some flaking and cracking that create a country / rustic feel. Purchaser could strip and re-paint the shutter if preferred however. Please note: one shutter edge has a rebate that could be cut to remove by purchaser if required. The shutter is in good solid condition with character signs of age and wear, adding to its charm. There are some small cracks in some of the slats and some denting. There are marks, missing paint and small holes left from the removal of hardware and an espagnolette type bolt. The wood has some small knocks and chips. The height varies slightly from one side to the other. Please see pictures for condition details. The shutter would be ideal for decorative use in a bedroom or country style living room or for making an interesting feature in a shop or café. The shutter has great period charm and is a lovely rustic piece.
