    About this item

A rare, set of three, small, 19th century, French, two part moulds. This type of mould was used for moulding ice or nougat comports, which were used as table centrepieces, but it is rare to find them in such a small size. In fact, these are the first that we have ever seen and they are quite delightful. The set comprises two of the slightly larger size and one very small. The larger ones measure 13.5cm. diameter by 11cm. high and the smallest measure 9.5cm. diameter by 9.5cm. high. The tops of the larger two are both marked “TROTTIER”  and they date from c.1870. All parts are in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still good enough for use.

Price includes postage within the U.K., shipping to the U.S.A. and most of Western Europe.
