About this item
A small, Victorian copper, oval jelly mould. This is quite a simple design with fluted sides which resemble sponge fingers. However it is not commonly found in this small size. It is stamped “H B & CO” , which is the manufactures mark, and it is also stamped with a pattern number ’649’. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper.
English. Date c.1880.
It is in very good condition but there is slight pitting to the copper from use. The tinning, to the interior is still in very good, usable condition.
Dimensions: Height 6.2cm. Length 10.7cm. Width 7.5cm.
