About this item
An interesting charcoal drawing of barges moored in a canalside town. Typically Dutch. Indistinctly signed in pen and although I have been unable to distinguish the signature it is followed by the letters RSW indicating that the artist was a member of the Royal Society of Watercolour painters. In the 19th and early 20th centuries artists often went on drawing tours of the Low Countries The frame is later.
There is a very little foxing but condition is generally very good Size quoted is the frame size.
