About this item
A very attractive pitch pine Gothic style door for internal or external use. The door is very solid and well made and very heavy. The door has two panels, fitted with pretty circular stained glass designs, surrounded by textured plain glass and leadwork. The door has two solid panels below with planked design. The pine has been varnished and has a deep colour. The door has metal finger plates and escutcheons. The main feature of the door is the beautiful arched top in the Gothic style. We can advise on fitting and make a frame or door liner for an extra charge. The door is reclaimed and therefore has some slight signs of use and wear. There are some knocks and chips to the wood, especially the door edges and one corner of the bottom edge. One plain glass panel has a crack. There is some scuffing and discolouration to the door and purchaser may wish to strip and re-finish the door. The door is very well made and solid and has a very stylish appearance. Perfect for a period or contemporary project, the door is a very desireable item.
