Available for sale; this original oil painting dating from the early part of the 20th century signed Jane Peterson.
The painting is presented and supplied in its’ original frame. The painted surfaces and canvas have benefitted from some recent restoration, cleaning and conservation, which took place on our instructions. The canvas has been lined during this process.
The painting is signed Jane Peterson lower right.
This still life features a gently folded cream cloth on which are positioned a green bottle wrapped in colourful raffia, a striped salt glazed jug or pitcher, a stemmed wine glass and three pears. There is part of a green apple to the right of the scene. The mood is continental, typically Tuscan.
