The Garage, 63 High Road, Chilwell, Nottinghamshire, NG9 4AJHeld undercover in a former bus garage on the outskirts of Nottingham, The Garage Vintage Market fills three large interconnecting market halls with more than 40 vintage traders. Stock covers furniture, glass, ceramics, art, homeware, clothes, jewellery, books, vinyl, cameras, watches, ephemera and curios.
The building itself, first used in 1913, was once home to what was Western Europe's largest independent bus operator, giving the market a genuinely characterful, industrial backdrop. Free trader parking, toilets, hot food and drink, barista coffee and a licensed bar make for a comfortable day out, with outdoor pitches possible alongside the covered halls.
Held on a couple of dedicated vintage dates each year alongside the venue's regular weekly market, it has become the East Midlands' go-to showcase for vintage dealers, with free entry for visitors.
