About this item
A lithographed tinplate shop-counter sign, made in the 1920s/30s to advertise Flor de Belar Cigars. It has an integral moulded frame and is colourfully printed. It has an easel prop at the back and the original cord threaded through the top edge of the frame. It was made by Barringer, Wallis & Manners of Mansfield and bears their mark.
This sign would have stood on or been hung behind the counter in a tobacconist's.
