A Rare College Toffee Tinplate Money Box in the form of a Top Hat was originally marked College by W M Livens & Co Ltd Newcastle. C1920 The lid was replaced at some stage but does not detract from this querky little Money Box in any way.
These Tin Money boxes were produced as an advertising item to store the toffees inside and then used as a money box after, a lovely gift for any child back in the 1920s.
