An historic and scarce Boer War Queen Victoria 'New Year' troops chocolate gift tin.
The tin originally contained chocolate, sent by the Queen to her forces in the Transvaal Campaign in 1900.
The lid has an embossed head of Queen Victoria and carries a facsimile of the Queen's handwriting, "I wish you a happy new year".
In very good condition.
