    About this item

A rare Victory-V suitcase novelty shop counter display tin.

This unusual display tin was manufactured by Thomas Fryer Co. (Nelson), Lancashire, to hold Victory V gums and lozenges. It would have been displayed in a shop window or on the counter showcasing the product packets inside.

The Victory-V makers information is clearly printed to the rear of this novelty tin along with some sales lines and descriptions of the products for the shops.

I have loved vintage tins and old advertising since I was a young child. I collect myself and want to create a space online for all those who share my love of history and design. Best wishes - Peter and Harri (the Hound)!
