A rare old advertising survivor from Victorian times - 'The Ship Canal' Tacks
Consists of the original cardboard box packaging for shipping to outlets, finished with industrial staples, and has a removable lid. Branding printed to the front face of the box.
Inside the box are 23 original separate branded thin wooden boxes of 'Ship Canal' Tacks with sliders. The boxes are in a variety of pale pastel colours. Each box inside measures 7.3cm x 5cm (2cm height)
A wonderful piece of Victorian old advertising.
