    About this item

    A superb turned serpentine stone tobacco jar, dating to approximately the early 20th century. It was probably made on the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall, an area rich in serpentine. It has been turned and polished to fully reveal the beauty of the mineral. It has a snuggly fitting lid with tidy knop. 

    Condition : There are a few nibbles to the edges commensurate with the age of the piece.
