About this item
A tin sided mould with a copper top in the shape of a lion. This is English and dates from c.1910. The lion is well detailed and has a very cute face. Originally the lion would have been tinned but the tin has now been removed to reveal the copper beneath. There is, however, quite a lot of the tin left on the flat surface beneath the lion. The mould is in good condition but it could not be used due to the rust on the interior.
