About this item
A super quality, 19th century, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, cabinet plate. This plate is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1850. It is also stamped with the number ’10’, which relates to its’ diameter in inches. It is sprig moulded with the ‘Harebell and Acanthus’ design surrounding a large, central, floral motif. To the rim is a border of acorns and oak leaves. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip glaze is a rich shade of blue.
The piece is in excellent condition.
