About this item
A pair of Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip, bulbous shaped vases. These are both marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and they date from c.1920. They are also both impressed with a number ‘6’, which relates to the height in inches. Each vase is sprig decorated with four different classical subjects but the reliefs are the same on both vases. The reliefs are divided by large anthemion and to the neck of the vases are bands of grapes and vines. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. Both vases are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 9.5cm. Height 14.8cm.
