About this item
A charming pair of Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip miniature vases. These are marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and they date from c.1900. They are also impressed with a letter ’S’. They are decorated, in relief, with classical scenes including Pegasus and the Three Graces. There are lion masks to either side and there are fine foliate borders to the shoulders. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a good, rich, shade of blue. One is in excellent condition. The other has a chip to the socle which can be seen in one of the images.
Dimensions of each vase: Height 9.8cm. Width 6cm. Diameter 5cm.
