About this item
A lovely, Wedgwood, pale blue jasper dip powder box with a gilt mount and lid. This would have been part of a ladies dressing table set. It is marked 'WEDGWOOD ENGLAND' and it dates from c.1900. There is also a large, impressed letter 'J' to the base. The relief decoration to the pot is quite simple, with garlands of flowers hanging from ram's heads. To the shoulder is a band of foliage. The lid was originally gilded but it was quite worn, so we have had it re-gilded. The piece is in excellent condition.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Western Europe add £10.
