About this item
A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, jardiniere. This is marked “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. It is decorated, in white relief, with five different classical subjects beneath lion’s head masks from which hang garlands of grapes and vines. To the rim is a very narrow border flowers. The reliefs are all good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. It is in excellent condition but there is a rust stain in the base.
