About this item
A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip coffeepot and cover. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a number ’12’ and a small, workman’s mark. It is decorated with a band of classical figures, trees and plants and there is a band of leaves and berries around the spout. To the lid is a band of acanthus leaves and classical sprigs. All of the reliefs are good quality and the jasper dip is a rich shade of blue. Both the coffeepot and the lid are in excellent condition.
