    About this item

A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip butter dish, cover and stand. The dish and stand are both marked “WEDGWOOD ETRURIA ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1895. This mark was only used for about five years around this date. The pieces are also impressed with a number “4” and a small workman’s mark. The dish is decorated, in white relief, with a band of classical figures offering sacrifices. To the lid are four small reliefs depicting cherubs or putti at play and to the stand is a border of grapes and vines. The reliefs are good quality and all three pieces are in very good condition.

Dimensions overall:  Diameter 14.8cm. Height 10.2cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10
