    About this item

A small, Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip match box. This is marked ‘WEDGWOOD ENGLAND’ to the base and it dates from c.1900. There is also an impressed letter ‘F’. The pot would have been used for storing matches and on the underside is a ring of rough lines in the pot which were used for striking the matches. The pot is decorated with three different classical scenes, including ‘The Three Graces’, and to the lid is a further scene showing Pegasus. All of the reliefs are good quality  and both the pot and lid are in excellent condition.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £10. Western Europe add £5.
