About this item
A Wedgwood, dark blue jasper dip, Portland shaped jug with a pewter lid. This was known as the Portland shape jug as it was made in a very similar form to the Portland vase, and also used the same reliefs. It is impressed “WEDGWOOD” and also has a letter “N”. It dates from c.1850. All of the reliefs are very good quality and the jasper dip is a very deep shade of blue.
Both the vase and the inner lid are in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Height 15cm. Width 10.7cm Diameter 9.5cm.
