About this item
A superb, Wedgwood, three colour jasper vase and cover. This is marked, to the base, “WEDGWOOD ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1900. For a piece of this period it is exceptionally fine quality. The elegant, solid, white jasper, urn shaped vase is sprig decorated in lilac and pale green. Lilac vignettes, with classical subject in white, are framed in green and draped with green garlands of flowers. There are various foliate borders, in both green and lilac and, if you look closely at the images you will see tiny lilac jeweling on the band of green leaves to the shoulder of the vase. All of the reliefs are beautifully detailed and of the finest quality
Both the vase and cover are in perfect condition. There is no damage and no restoration. All of the reliefs are also in perfect condition and free from firing faults.
