About this item
A pair of Wedgwood, black and white jasper dip candlesticks. These are both marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and they date from c.1920. They are also impressed with a number ‘6’ which relates to their size in inches.
Each one is decorated, in relief, with two of the Muses and the reliefs are the same on both candlesticks. To the bases are borders of oak leaves and acorns.
A small chip, to the rim of one, has been restored. This can be seen in one of the images. Other than this they are in good condition.
Dimensions: Diameter 9.8cm. Height 15cm.
