    About this item

A rare, Wedgwood, duck egg blue, vase with gilded decoration. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it dates from c.1870. It is potted in a hard stoneware which is coloured right through the body. This is then decorated with flowers and foliage in a raised gilding which is similar to the style of the Auro Basalt and Ivory Ware which Wedgwood produced in the latter part of the 19th century but I have never seen this style of decoration on this colour of body. The overall effect is very attractive and the piece is in excellent condition.

    Dimensions: Height 22.2cm. Diameter 13.5cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £25. Most of Western Europe add £10.
