About this item
A Wedgwood, majolica, shell shaped plate. This is marked “WEDGWOOD” and it is also impressed with the letters “ZHA” which is the date code for 1872 which was the year of the manufacture. The earthenware plate is covered in a majolica, lead glaze in shades of brown, green and yellow and originally this would have been part of a dessert service. It is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: Length 22.2cm. Width 21.5cm. Depth 2.3cm.
