About this item
A rare group of early 20th century, Wedgwood calendar tiles. These are decorated with good quality, brown transfer prints. To one side of each tile is a view relating to the City of Boston in America and to the reverse is a calendar. The calendars relate to 1918 (Boston Light House) and 1919 (Memorial Hall Harvard University). Each one has a hole pierced in the top so that they could be hung with the calendar side showing. This was done in the manufacture. There is wear, and very minor chipping to the rims of the tiles. This can be seen in the various images.
Dimensions of each tile: Length 12.2cm. Width 8.4cm. Depth 0.7cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K., shipping to the U.S.A. and most of Western Europe.
