A 19th century walnut gilt mounted jardiniere.

A 19th century burr walnut jardiniere or wine cooler in the Louis XV style. The gilded metal galleried top above a drop in tin liner, shaped frieze all round , standing on well shaped cabriole lgs with gilded mounts on the knees and gilded sabots on the feet. Good quality and in nice condition throughout, can be used as a planter or would hold several bottles of champagne/ wine. There is a lid which may be an addition ( looks good) or could be original. English Circa 1860.
