About this item
A very nice quality Edwardian silver lobed circular quaich or porringer type drinking vessel with fluted walls and pretty pierced flat side handle. Hallmarked for London 1903, maker William Comyns & Sons.
It measures 11.5cm (4 1/2") wide rim to rim, 15.5cm (6 1/8") rim to handle and 4.5cm (1 3/4") high. It weighs 195g / 6.3ozt.
Condition is very good: there is the slightest bruise to a small area of the underside of the rounded belly, which will certainly not be noticed without close scrutiny and does not detriment the piece at all. No other dents, damage or repair and surface wear is minor.
