    About this item

A wooden pie mould for making a hand raised meat pie. This type of mould is placed in the centre of a circle of pastry. The pastry is raised up around the mould, the mould is removed and the pastry case is then filled. A lid is placed on top of the meat and the pastry edges are crimped together.

    English. Beechwood. Date c.1880.

    Dimensions: Diameter 10.5cm. Height 12.3cm.

Condition:There is an area where the wood had deteriorated. This is most likely due to old worm damage but this has all now been treated and filled with an impervious wood filler.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Extra shipping U.S.A. add £15. Western Europe add £7.
