About this item
An unusual, English copper mould in the shape of a laurel wreath. This is stamped with the orb and cross symbol used by Benhams above the pattern number ’499’. To the opposite side is a workmans’ mark in the shape of a radiating sun. However, it is also stamped “J.E.D MUN’DSON & CO DUBLIN” so it would have been made by Benhams to be retailed by the Dublin company. There are also engraved initials ‘M & S’ which would be the initials of a previous owner, and a number ’82’. It is made from a substantial gauge of copper and is in good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is badly worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 16.5cm Height 5.5cm.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
