    About this item

A rare, 18th century creamware jelly mould depicting Bacchus. This mould is well potted, from quite a light creamware, and it dates from c.1790. It is unusual, being of almost triangular form but also, the design depicting Bacchus is one that we have not come across before. The design is quite deep and very well modelled. The mould has an uneven base and stands on three peg feet to keep it upright. It is in excellent condition, with just a little rubbing to the high points of the glaze.

    Dimensions: Length 13.5cm. Width 12.8cm. Height 5.8cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £20. Most of Western Europe add £10.
